Cemetery Protocol

Enter our cemetery at your own risk. The event promoters and the Historic Jersey City and Harsimuc Cemetery accept no liability for injury or damage to personal property. We close at sundown. The historic Jersey City and Harsimus Cemetery grounds and walkways are uneven; use caution with walking around. Our gravestones are historic and fragile. It is an outdoor environment that contains natural and man-made hazards, including standing water, fallen trees, limbs, and plant materials; steep and slippery rough terrain; animal and reptile burrows, insects, reptiles, poisonous plants; maintenance and heavy equipment; and other apparent and unapparent hazards.

• CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED

• DO NOT LEAN ON, SIT ON, OR PLAY ON OR AROUND THE GRAVESTONES.
